How
Therapists are Paid

was obtained on how therapists were paid. Forty-eight
percent were paid by the hour, 45% were salaried, 2% were
per diem, and 5% reported being paid in another manner,
such as per patient, per visit, or based on productivity.

Overtime Required?

percent of the CHTs reported that they were expected to
work overtime. |
How
is Overtime Compensated?

| About 50% reported that
they were not compensated for overtime. Of those who received
compensation, approximately 16% were given time off and
18% were paid for the overtime work. Sixteen percent were
compensated in other ways or worked overtime as the practice
owner. |
